2020 National AAPI Leadership Summit

Repost From The Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote

Dear Friends,

We wanted to remind you that the 2020 National AAPI Leadership Summit begins tomorrow, June 22nd at 3:30pm, as we kick-off our Summit with an overview of the 2020 Policy Platform developed by the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans.

Join in our first series of workshops that focuses on organizing around issue priorities of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.  Learn about the recommended policies for which we want to hold candidates and elected officials accountable.  Many of the issues are highlighed in theNCAPA 2020 Policy Platform, and are being organized by members of the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans.  Also learn about issues that AAPI business and caregivers face and new AAPI consumer trends.

These 1 hour sessions are scheduled to start at 5 PMAND7 PM ET every evening from June 22-25, 2020.

In addition we have confirmed that Vice President Joe Biden and Eddie Baza Calvo, Trump campaign surrogate and Former Governor of Guam, will join Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) elected officials, organizers, and community leaders for the presidential town hall about the policy issues important to the AANHPI community on Saturday, June 27th.
