Supporting Ethnic Specific Agencies Providing Mental Health Services to AANHPI

Updated: May 23, 2020

Dear Community Partners,

The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed lives at the local, national, and global levels. If there is a silver lining to COVID-19, it is the increased awareness of mental health. The unprecedented number of deaths, infected individuals, and unemployment claims, as well as conflicting strategies of how to address the pandemic, has led to a sharp rise in anxiety, frustration, depression, and even thoughts of suicide.

Please join NAAPIMHA and other organizations by signing onto this letter to advocate for fair and adequate distribution of COVID-19 resources to insure they go to ethnic specific agencies providing crucial mental health and integrated health services for AANHPI.

Please sign onto this letter by close of business on May 27, 2020.

Thank you!
