Dr. Jean Lau Chin was a force of nature whose passion and commitment to the world of psychology and mental health was without question. She helped build programs and agencies, mentored up and coming young clinicians who would go on to become leaders themselves. Her passing, and that of her husband a few days apart makes this a double loss. It is ironic that she died from COVID-19 during the month of May as we celebrate what it is to be API and recognize the importance of mental health. She was a big part of both. Jean and I would laugh because we were both so short but there is no question that she casts a very tall shadow. Thank you for all you gave.
