NAAPIMHA's Act to Change Youth Ambassadors Present Capstone Projects

This past Spring, NAAPIMHA hosted four Act to Change Youth Ambassadors.

Over a 8-month journey, Youth Ambassadors participated in leadership development, mentorship, innovation and community partnerships.

During their time with NAAPIMHA, Dylan, Rachel, Ethan and Katherine have:

  • Submitted proclamations to their respective cities/states for the recognition of AANHPI Mental Health Day (May 10)

  • Supported our Mental Health Resource Directory

  • Created an AANHPI Wellness Journal

The program culminated in the presentation of their capstone projects in May in New York City.

Here are the capstone projects from NAAPIMHA's four youth ambassadors:

  • Dylan Chong Fleischer: Anti-Asian Bullying, Racial Trauma, and Mental Health

  • Rachel Lei: Songs and Stories

  • Ethan Mao: Asian Senior Bullying Prevention

  • Katherine Nguyen: Advancing St. Louis’ AANHPI Health Understandings and Community
